Overview
Registered Nurse – CCU, Glenwood Springs, CO. Travel assignment starting 06/09/2026 for 13 weeks. pay range $2,482–$2,576 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour rotating nights (1900–0730) with weekend rotation. Setting: hospital-based unit requiring CVICU and CCU coverage as needed.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for CVICU and CCU patients, including postoperative and medically complex cases
- Monitor hemodynamics, adjust ventilator settings, administer medications, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
- Implement and update care plans in coordination with physicians, intensivists, and the multidisciplinary team; document assessments and interventions in the electronic medical record
- Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention, patient safety, and quality improvement practices; function within CVICU/CUCC protocols
- Cross-cover CVICU and CCU as staffing needs require; participate in call rotation and ensure smooth handoffs between shifts

Requirements
- Active Colorado RN license in good standing; graduate of an approved RN program
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association; PALS certification required
- Minimum 3 years RN Critical Care experience; CVICU experience required; willingness to cover CCU as needed
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with weekend rotation; participate in scheduled call rotations
- Influenza vaccination required (no declinations accepted) for the current flu season
