Overview
Registered Nurse – Cath Lab in Rochester, New York. Travel assignment starting 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks, with a pay rate of 2,553 to 2,724 USD per week, shift is 12 hours. This is a travel - temporary assignment in an inpatient and outpatient cath lab environment that supports advanced cardiac procedures and interventions. Assignment managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Guaranteed hours are not provided.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults and pediatric patients undergoing interventional cardiology procedures in the cath lab and associated holding areas
- Monitor telemetry, hemodynamics, and sedation per protocol during and after procedures; assist with moderate sedation as trained
- Collaborate with CVT team and participate in a range of procedures including TAVR, PCI, CTO, pericardiocentesis, vascular interventions, and device-guided therapies
- Support mechanical circulatory interventions and devices as applicable (e.g., LVADs, IABP, Impella, ECMO as trained); assist with EP and device-related procedures as needed
- Manage pre- and post-procedure care, documentation, and post-procedure recovery; communicate progress and any concerns to the care team
- Demonstrate comprehensive telemetry interpretation and rapid response to rhythm disturbances; maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the peri-procedural period

Requirements
- Active RN license in New York
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
- Moderate sedation trained
- Telemetry competency
- Must have experience with right and left heart hemodynamics, cardiac interventions, and structural heart procedures (e.g., TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman)
- Experience with advanced mechanical circulatory support and devices (ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, LVAD) is required
- Prior exposure to EP lab procedures, device knowledge, and vascular interventions is highly desired
- Ability to work in a high-acuity cath lab setting and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team
