Overview
Registered Nurse – Cath Lab, Globe, Arizona. Travel assignment beginning 06/01/2026 for 13 weeks, with a pay range of $3,108 to $3,273 per week and 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift is Days, Monday through Friday, with no on-call requirements (8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). Work setting is a surgery center performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac caths, including structural heart procedures, peripheral interventions, and device implants (pacemaker/ICD) with Impella support as applicable. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in the cath lab.
- Assist with structural heart cases, peripheral interventions, and device implants (pacemaker/ICD) and support Impella devices as needed.
- Prepare the lab, monitor hemodynamics, maintain sterile technique, and assist physicians during procedures.
- Document procedures, manage post-procedure recovery, and coordinate patient transport and communication with the care team.
- Monitor patient status, ensure patient safety, and uphold infection control and safety standards in a fast-paced interventional environment.
- Adhere to all facility policies, including vaccine requirements, and participate in ongoing quality and safety initiatives.
Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in Arizona (or appropriate multi-state license/compact license) in good standing.
- BLS certification at minimum; ACLS certification preferred or as required by the program.
- Education: graduate of an accredited RN program (associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing).
- Experience: cath lab or interventional cardiology experience preferred; demonstrated ability to work in a cath lab environment.
- Flu vaccination required with no exceptions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced cath lab within a surgery center setting.
- 100-mile radius rule applies: candidates with a permanent address within 100 miles of the assignment location will not be considered.
- Start date readiness and ability to commit to a 13-week assignment; eligible for travel assignment per program guidelines.
