Responsibilities
- Perform medical necessity reviews and utilization reviews to guide patient care decisions
- Lead discharge planning and coordinate transitions of care to appropriate next steps
- Conduct concurrent review and continued stay assessments; participate in appeals/denials as needed
- Provide care coordination with multidisciplinary teams and connect patients with community resources
- Document screenings and discharge plans in the charting system (Epic)

Requirements
- Active RN license in Idaho or a Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
- BLS certification
- Experience: 2 years preferred; previous charge experience and community hospital experience preferred; travel experience not required
- Epic charting experience required
- Education: Registered Nurse with current licensure
- Ability to work in a hospital-based setting
