Responsibilities
- Apply nursing process to assess care needs, develop a plan of care with an interdisciplinary team, and continually reassess as needs evolve.
- Provide and coordinate nursing care in collaboration with physicians for individuals and groups served.
- Assist in patient and family teaching, milieu management, and discharge/aftercare planning.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff in both individual and group settings.
- Document, report, and verify information per established policies; monitor for safety risks and escalate to physicians as needed.
- Serve as a clinical leader, delegating and coordinating staff assignments, promoting staff development, and contributing to protocol review and quality improvement.
- May assist with medication management, scheduling, and pre-authorizations; support person-centered, recovery-focused care in various clinical settings.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Michigan
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of behavioral health experience required
- Pediatric behavioral health experience required
- Ability to work in inpatient/residential behavioral health settings with diverse patient populations
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, with potential to pick up additional shifts up to 48 hours; every-other-weekend schedule
- Ability to complete required onboarding and credentialing for a travel assignment
