MSF International is the legal entity that binds MSF’s 24 sections, 28 associations and other offices together. Registered in Switzerland, MSF International provides coordination, information, and support to the MSF Movement, as well as implements international projects and initiatives as requested.
The role of Travel Referent involves managing the travel arrangements of MSF International staff based in various MSF entities. The role coordinates all aspects of staff travel, liaising with the finance and procurement departments, partner MSF sections, decentralised hubs, the GPU, as well as external suppliers such as the AMEX travel agency and accommodation providers.
The Travel Referent is responsible for coordinating all travel arrangements for MSF International staff based in various MSF entities, ensuring that travel solutions comply with the Travel Policy, are efficient, safe and tailored to operational constraints.
Coordinate travel arrangements for MSF International staff, ensuring efficient, compliant and operationally appropriate travel solutions.
Optimise travel planning and traveller support to balance operational, financial and environmental considerations.
Manages travel activities independently within established policies and procedures, exercising judgement to prioritise requests and make day-to-day decisions based on operational needs, urgency and travel policy requirements.
Operates in a diverse international environment, coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders while balancing operational, administrative, budgetary, environmental, security and data protection considerations.
The incumbent undertakes to contribute to a safe, supportive, inclusive, equitable, diverse, respectful and healthy workplace, free from abuse and other misconduct.
