Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic imaging procedures per orders, ensuring proper patient positioning, exposure factors, and image quality while following safety guidelines.
- Verify patient identity and consent, obtain necessary clinical information, and communicate findings with radiologists and care teams.
- Operate digital radiography equipment, maintain equipment cleanliness, and document procedures in the patient record and PACS/RIS as required.
- Adhere to ALARA principles, protect patient privacy, and collaborate with the radiology team to support efficient workflow and accurate diagnoses.
- Troubleshoot routine equipment issues and escalate any malfunctions to ensure uninterrupted service and patient care.

Requirements
- ARRT active licensure; must be uploaded prior to start
- ARRT certification required
- Hep B vaccination documentation (three doses/series, positive titer, or recent declination) with a declination form available in downloadable compliance forms
- Influenza vaccination documentation or declination with the facility’s compliance forms; if declined, the traveler may be required to wear a mask per policy
- COVID-19 vaccination record or medical/religious exemption with an attestation letter; exemption forms available in the compliance materials
- 10-panel drug screen results negative within the last year; upload Drug Screen Attestation
- Michigan ICHAT clearance within 30 days of start
- TrioWFS I-9 Attestation; complete and upload
- TB testing documentation: 1 PPD, 2-step, TB Quantiferon, T-Spot, or Chest X-Ray with proof of a positive PPD within two years of start
- Sexual Offender and Predator Registry search within 30 days of start
- Criminal Background Check (7-year lookback, including national search and SSN verification) within 1 year of start
