Overview
Ultrasound Technologist – Radiology, travel assignment in Watertown, New York. Start date 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,241–$2,372 per week. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Travel assignment in an acute-care hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations with a focus on vascular and obstetric imaging, along with other general ultrasound procedures as ordered.
- Prepare patients, position them appropriately, apply coupling gel, and optimize image quality; document findings clearly.
- Operate and troubleshoot major ultrasound equipment; adhere to equipment safety, calibration, and software updates; report any malfunctions.
- Maintain patient safety, privacy, and infection control standards; ensure accurate and complete patient records.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to interpret results and support timely, accurate reporting.
- Manage on-call expectations and respond to scheduling needs while maintaining professionalism under pressure.

Requirements
- ARDMS registration (must be ARDMS registered)
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography
- At least 1 year of radiologic/imaging experience; specific training/experience in Medical Sonography (vascular and obstetric)
- Proficiency with major Medical Sonography equipment, hardware, and software; strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
