Overview
Radiology Tech (X-Ray Tech) in Atlanta, GA, United States. This travel assignment starts July 6, 2026 for 10 weeks. Weekly pay is $1,537 to $1,689, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is Fri–Sun, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM. The assignment is in a hospital setting with ED exposure and on-site imaging workflow support.

Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic exams (X-ray) for ED patients and other assigned areas
- Position patients correctly, operate X-ray equipment, and ensure image quality for accurate interpretation
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles to protect patients and staff
- Prepare imaging rooms, process, label, and transmit images to the electronic medical record
- Communicate with ED team (nursing, physicians) to meet imaging needs and expedite care
- Maintain patient privacy, comfort, and professional standards throughout the imaging workflow

Requirements
- Active radiologic technologist license or eligibility in Georgia (as required by state)
- Certification in Radiography (ARRT) or equivalent per state requirements
- Prior radiography experience in acute care or ED settings preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ED environment and manage multiple patients
- Availability to work the Fri–Sun 7:00 AM–7:00 PM shift
- Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment
