Overview
MRI Technologist – Radiology with an MRI specialty is available for a travel assignment in the Lancaster, PA area. The start date is 09/14/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay ranges from $2,718 to $2,928, with guaranteed hours of 40 per week. The shift is 3x12-hour nights, specifically weekend nights (Friday through Sunday) from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This on-site role involves working in a hospital setting within the local health system. Experience with MRI, particularly Siemens Avanto VB19, is required for this opening, along with ARRT certification and BLS.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations across appropriate patient populations, ensuring scanner protocols meet clinical indications
- Prepare and position patients for MRI, obtain informed consent as required, screen for safety, and manage contrast administration per orders
- Operate the Siemens Avanto MRI system (VB19) and implement standard imaging protocols; adjust sequences to optimize diagnostic quality
- Monitor patient condition during the exam, provide patient education, and address safety considerations throughout the study
- Maintain image quality and documentation, assist with basic quality control, and ensure accurate transfer of images to the clinical team
- Maintain compliance with safety guidelines, infection control, and regulatory requirements within the imaging suite

Requirements
- Active ARRT certification in MRI (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- MRI Certification (MRI) preferred; not required if otherwise covered by credentials
- Experience with Siemens Avanto VB19 MRI systems (preferred)
- Previous MRI technologist experience in a hospital setting
- Ability to work weekend night shifts and participate in a 13-week travel assignment
