Overview
Radiology Tech – CT Tech position available for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. Start date 09/14/2026 for 17 weeks. Weekly pay range: $3,292-$3,440 per week. Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed. Shift: 3:00 pm–11:30 pm EST, Monday–Friday, with on-call/callback, holidays and occasional weekends. Work setting involves performing CT imaging in a medical imaging department within a healthcare facility.

Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the CT scan; adhere to department policy and patient safety standards
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging; prepare patients and explain procedures to ease anxiety
- Insert IVs when necessary and position patients properly, using safe patient handling techniques
- Perform CT imaging, ensuring accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and proper sending of images to the PACS system
- Maintain a clean, safe scanning area and accurate patient records; assist with imaging workflow and exam timing
- Collaborate with radiologists and care team to optimize diagnostic quality; follow department protocols and injection therapy requirements if applicable

Requirements
- NYS Radiologic Technologist license active and in good standing prior to starting
- Injection therapy certification indicated on the NYS license at time of submission
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology; ongoing certified status
- Two (2) years CT experience; level 1 trauma center experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Formal training from an approved School of Radiologic Technology; ability to work in a high-volume CT setting
- Telemetry experience is preferred
