Overview
Radiology Tech – CT Tech traveling assignment in California. Start date 08/17/2026 for an 8-week assignment in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range is $2,764–$2,911 per week. Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanner and related imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and soft tissue to support diagnosis.
- Perform CT procedures and a range of imaging tasks including general radiography and fluoroscopy as assigned.
- Position patients, apply immobilization, select appropriate exposure factors, and implement shielding to protect patients and staff.
- Monitor patient condition during procedures, assess image quality, and communicate results to radiologists and care teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, ensure proper equipment cleaning between patients, and adhere to radiation safety standards (ALARA).
- Support department workflow, assist with contrast administration under supervision, and participate in team activities as needed.

Requirements
- Active radiologic technology license in California or as required by state regulations.
- Certification/credentialing in CT imaging (e.g., ARRT CT) or as mandated by state rules; ability to provide verification during onboarding.
- Proficiency in CT imaging and general radiography; ability to operate fluoroscopy equipment as needed.
- Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (3x12) and participate in a travel assignment lasting 8 weeks.
- Strong patient communication skills and commitment to safety in a fast-paced imaging environment.
- Willingness to travel and comply with assignment requirements; relocation not included.
