Overview
CT Technologist (CT Tech) – Radiology in Rochester, NY. Start date: 06/22/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment on 12-hour shifts. Weekly pay ranges from $2,888 to $3,080. Guaranteed hours: 0.0 per week. Work setting: acute-care radiology department in a health system environment. This assignment requires on-call coverage and holidays per unit needs, with 2–3 call shifts per month.

Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating CT imaging, following department safety policies
- Prepare patients for scans, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort; insert IVs when necessary
- Position patients for CT exams, assist with patient transfers, and use safe patient handling techniques
- Acquire and optimize CT images; operate Philips and Siemens CT systems in accordance with protocol
- Document all required information in the electronic health record (EPIC) and ensure images are correctly sent to PACS upon exam completion
- Maintain a clean, safe scanning area and coordinate with physicians to support accurate diagnostics

Requirements
- NYS licensure as Radiologic Technologist; injection therapy certification noted on license at time of submission
- Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology; ARRT certification maintained
- NYS licensure must be obtained prior to starting the position
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years CT tech experience; Level I Trauma Center experience; Telemetry
- Proficiency with CT technology on Philips and Siemens platforms; Epic experience is highly desired
- Injection therapy certification preferred; willingness to complete during orientation if not already held
- Eligibility to work in the listed location; ability to perform 12-hour shifts
