Shift: 5x8 Days (Monday–Friday, 12:30 PM–8:30 PM). Employment Type: Travel - Temporary Assignment. Setting: Hospital. The role requires in-hand NY State licensure to begin and is a travel assignment managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations using GE MRI systems, applying standard sequences (T1, T2, spin echo, gradient echo, perfusion, spectroscopy) and advanced vascular studies (MRA/MRV, MR aortogram, peripheral MRA).
- Administer IV contrast as appropriate, start peripheral IVs, and maintain patient safety with proper isolation precautions and PPE.
- Conduct specialized exams (MRCP, diffusion studies, temporomandibular joint, spine trauma imaging) and ensure optimal image quality through proficient use of surface coils and post-processing (MIP, MPR, ADC).
- Utilize PACS for image storage and retrieval; perform image post-processing and ensure accurate labeling; collaborate with the radiology team to support diagnostic procedures.
- Manage patient populations across pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics; support ER/Trauma, ICU, and outpatient imaging workflows.
- Maintain EPIC charting and documentation; uphold safety, radiation protection standards, and procedure protocols.
Requirements
- NY State license required in-hand to start; ARRT (R) MRI Certification; BLS.
- Minimum 1 year MRI experience; preferred trauma Level I/II experience, community hospital experience, and leadership/management experience.
- Education: Degree or certificate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Core skills: GE MRI systems experience, PACS proficiency, image post-processing (MIP, MPR, ADC), IV contrast administration.
- EPIC charting experience; ability to work with adult and pediatric populations, ER/Trauma, ICU; ability to float to other areas as needed.
- Location restrictions: Applicants within 75 miles of the assignment location will not be considered.
