Responsibilities
- Acquire CT images according to protocol with emphasis on image quality and patient safety.
- Operate CT equipment, select appropriate protocols, adjust technique parameters, and monitor image quality.
- Administer contrast media as ordered and observe for adverse reactions; manage patient monitoring during procedures.
- Review orders, verify patient identity and history, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate interpretation.
- Document procedures and imaging results in the electronic medical record in a timely, compliant manner.
- Adhere to ALARA principles and maintain radiation safety for patients and staff; perform routine equipment checks.

Requirements
- Active ARRT registration: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) required.
- Advanced Certification in CT: required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per AH policy: required.
- Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment: preferred.
- Venipuncture certification: preferred.
- Availability for night shift (1900–0730) as part of a 3x12-hour schedule and ability to work during the stated assignment period.
