Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan, following department safety policies
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging and ensure accurate exam orders
- Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable
- Insert IVs when necessary for contrast administration
- Position patients appropriately, using safe patient handling techniques
- Maintain accurate patient records in the EPIC system and verify images are correctly sent to PACS upon exam completion
- Keep the scanning area clean and safe; participate in on-call/callback, holiday, and occasional weekend coverage as scheduled

Requirements
- NYS Radiologic Technologist license (must be obtained prior to starting)
- Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology
- ARRT Certification in Radiography (ARRT)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience; Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred
- Injection therapy certification preferred; willingness to complete during orientation
