CT Technologist (CT Tech) – Radiology, travel assignment in Hilo, Hawaii, United States. Start date: 06/29/2026. Estimated duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,819-$2,989 per week. Shift: 4x10 rotating. Setting: hospital-based acute care. This assignment does not require on-call coverage. A Hawaii radiologic technologist license is required by start of assignment, and a current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography with BLS is required.

Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures per radiologist protocols for adult and pediatric patients; ensure image quality and patient safety
- Operate CT equipment (Canon/Toshiba CT units) and use Vitrea workstation for post-processing, including MIP, MPR, and 3D reconstructions
- Administer and manage contrast administration and venipuncture as required; monitor for adverse reactions
- Review patient history, select appropriate scanning parameters, and maintain radiation safety practices; work with radiologists to optimize protocols
- Perform routine CT scans and assist with advanced procedures (biopsies or drainages) as needed; contribute to vascular/cardiac, trauma, or stroke imaging cases
- Document exams and patient information in Meditech EMR; ensure accurate labeling, archiving, and communication with the radiology team
- Maintain independence in a fast-paced acute care setting and collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and support staff
Requirements
- Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license (radiographer) by start of assignment
- ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in an acute hospital setting
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR; experience with Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstation preferred
- Ability to perform venipuncture and CT-guided imaging; able to work independently and follow radiologist protocols; no on-call requirement
