Responsibilities
- Perform Computed Tomography imaging studies according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Position patients, adjust scanning parameters, and ensure high-quality images while applying ALARA radiation safety principles.
- Prepare and sanitize CT suite, verify patient identity and consent, and monitor patient comfort throughout the procedure.
- Administer contrast media per protocol and monitor for adverse reactions; respond to any contrast-related events per policy.
- Maintain accurate patient records, label images correctly, and communicate findings or concerns with radiologists and referring clinicians.
- Ensure equipment function, perform basic troubleshooting, and uphold infection control and safety standards in the imaging suite.

Requirements
- ARRT registration with CT credential: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) – Required
- California Radiologic Technologist license (RT) – Required
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – Required
- Fluoroscopy license in California if operating fluoroscopy equipment – Required
- Venipuncture certification – Preferred in CA and OR
- Documentation to submit with application: SSN, Date of Birth, Preferred Start Date, and RTO
