Overview
CT Technologist (Radiology) – Travel assignment in Geneva, New York. Start date 04/20/2026 for 14 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,076–$2,234. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 3x12-hour days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with holiday rotation. Work setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT and radiographic studies, including brain, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, facial, and extremities; with or without IV contrast as required
- Operate CT scanner, radiographic equipment, image processors, and related systems; ensure accurate positioning and image quality per procedure guidelines
- Evaluate images for technical quality; adjust technique to meet protocol specifications; document findings in RIS/PACS
- Provide clear, calming instructions to patients; monitor patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Maintain infection control per Universal Precautions; apply radiation protection principles (collimation, shielding, proper exposure) for self, patient, and staff
- Demonstrate competency in two modalities (CT and radiography) and maintain RIS/PACS proficiency
- Perform required QC activities and participate in quality assurance processes; follow NYSDOH Part 16 guidelines
- Handle portable radiographic exams and support emergency call rotations as needed ( weekdays, weekends, holidays)
- Work with diverse patient populations across infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups

Requirements
- ARRT certification and NYS license to practice radiologic technology
- Minimum 1 year CT Tech experience with solid radiologic tech/X-ray experience; C-Arm experience accepted
- Ability to work with infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Proficiency with CT and radiographic equipment, image processing, RIS/PACS workflow
- Eligibility for travel assignment and ability to meet facility compliance requirements
