Radiation Therapist – Radiation Therapy Tech in Watertown, New York. This travel assignment starts on 10/08/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $3,178 to $3,213 per week with guaranteed 40 hours each week. Shift is day shift, 8-hour days, 8x5. The role supports an inpatient oncology department within a medical facility, delivering external beam radiation therapy and related treatments.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed external beam radiation therapy using a Varian TrueBeam system, in coordination with IX and Aria software, following the established treatment plan
• Prepare and position patients, ensure accurate alignment, immobilization, and verification of treatment sites to maintain treatment precision
• Perform treatment simulations and collaborate with dosimetry and physics teams to ensure accurate delivery
• Verify patient identity and treatment data, adhere to radiation safety protocols, monitor for adverse effects, and document procedures accurately
• Maintain equipment quality assurance and participate in routine QA and safety checks; comply with state and federal regulations
• Communicate with oncologists and the care team to report progress and adjust care as needed

Requirements

• New York license in hand
• ARRT registration
• Minimum one year of radiation therapy experience
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Ability to work in an inpatient clinical setting
