Overview
Radiation Therapist (Radiation Therapy Tech) in Glendale, California. This travel, temporary assignment starts 06/29/2026 and runs for 15 weeks. Work 40 hours per week on dayshift (8-hour shifts, five days per week). Weekly pay ranges from $2,813 to $2,916. The assignment takes place in a clinical, acute-care setting. Responsibilities
- Administers ionizing irradiation to patients in accordance with prescriptions and instructions from department physicians
- Operates treatment delivery equipment and supports treatment planning under physician orders
- Verifies patient identity, positioning, and site to ensure accurate treatment delivery
- Monitors patient safety and comfort during procedures; communicates any concerns to the care team
- Documents treatments, doses delivered, and any deviations or patient reactions
- Collaborates with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and therapists to maintain high-quality care and safety standards

Requirements
- Active California Radiation Therapist license or eligibility per state requirements; ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy preferred or as required by employer
- Prior clinical radiation therapy experience is preferred
- Completion of an accredited radiation therapy program or equivalent education (as applicable)
- Ability to work a 40-hour day shift in a travel assignment and adhere to safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail, patient safety focus, and effective communication skills
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary clinical team
