Overview
Psychiatric Technician seeking a travel assignment in Rochester, New York. This 13-week position features 12-hour rotating shifts (D/E/N) with holidays and weekends, and a weekly pay range of $866-$900. There are no guaranteed hours. The role is based in an inpatient psychiatric care unit, requiring compassionate direct patient care and collaboration with nursing staff.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and clinical services to inpatient psychiatric patients on an individual basis
- Assist with daily living activities, social and psychiatric rehabilitation as directed by the RN
- Communicate effectively with patients to assess needs and ensure access to required services
- Inform the RN of any changes in patient condition or behavior
- Participate in rounds and group therapy as needed
- Maintain safety, document care, and follow unit policies and procedures

Requirements
- 2 years of recent experience as a psychiatric technician
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Associate's degree in Psychology or Sociology
- Experience working with children/adolescents aged 8–18
- Ability to work in an inpatient psychiatric care environment
