Polysomnographer (Zzz Polysomnographer) – Burlington, Vermont, United States

Assignment length: 13 weeks
Weekly pay: $1,795–$1,829 per week

Shift: 3x12-hour days
Setting: travel assignment in a medical facility providing sleep-related diagnostic services
This is a temporary, weather-conscious rotation with a focus on high-quality patient care and accurate sleep study data collection.

Responsibilities
- Perform and monitor PSG sleep studies, ensuring data acquisition and correct sensor setup
- Score sleep study data, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure data quality and integrity
- Conduct patient education, mask fittings, and bedside support to maximize comfort and throughput
- Troubleshoot PSG equipment and software, document issues, and coordinate with the care team
- Document findings and prepare accurate reports in the Epic EMR
- Collaborate with technologists, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure patient safety and timely communication

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of polysomnography experience; 3–5 years strongly preferred
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; or Associate degree in science or successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sleep Technology Program
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required
- BLS certification
- Ability to work 3x12-hour day shifts with weekend coverage; no block scheduling
- Reliable transportation is required; public transportation is not available in this area; personal vehicle or rental recommended; vehicles should have all-season tires in winter months
