Job Description

The Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo is responsible for providing friendly and efficient customer service.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, providing product information as needed.
• Accurately operate a cash register and handle various payment methods, including cash, credit/debit cards, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and adhere to all cash handling procedures.
• Scan and bag merchandise efficiently and carefully.
• Process fuel sales and understand different fuel types and payment options.
• Assist with stocking shelves, rotating products, and ensuring merchandise is properly displayed.
• Keep the sales floor, checkout area, and customer service counters clean and tidy.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store management.

Job Qualifications

• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Shift:

Dayshift, 2nd Shift and Nightshifts available

Pay:

$16+ per hour
