Job Description

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be the friendly face our customers first encounter, providing efficient and accurate service while processing transactions and assisting with their needs in our travel plaza environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate cash register and process various payment types (cash, credit, debit, gift cards) accurately and efficiently.
• Scan and bag merchandise, ensuring correct pricing and quantity.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions about products, services, and local amenities.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and assist with general store cleanliness.
• Stock shelves and displays as needed, ensuring products are well-presented and accessible.
• Handle customer returns and exchanges in accordance with company policy.
• Assist with lottery ticket sales and age verification when applicable.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and loss prevention guidelines.

Job Qualifications:

• Previous cash handling or customer service experience a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
