Overview
Physical Therapy Assistant (LTAC) in Silver City, New Mexico. This is a travel - temporary assignment starting 09/21/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,332 to $1,339 per week, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is daytime, 5x8 days, with typical hours 08:00–16:30. Setting: LTC – Nursing Home, LTAC rehabilitation. Travel assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services under supervision as part of the LTAC rehab team
- Implement and monitor prescribed plans of care, including therapeutic exercise, ROM, gait training, balance, and functional mobility
- Assist with patient evaluation/data collection, progress notes, and documentation in the chart
- Monitor patient response and communicate findings to the supervising PT; modify interventions as indicated
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Maintain infection control, equipment safety, and compliance with facility policies and documentation standards

Requirements
- NM caregiver account onboarding requirement for agencies (per Job Notes)
- Available for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Ability to work daytime hours on a 5x8 schedule (08:00–16:30 per notes)
- Eligible to travel to and work in Silver City, NM for the assignment
- Willing to pass standard credentialing and background checks per policy
