Overview
Physical Therapy Assistant (LTAC) – White River Junction, VT
This travel assignment begins 08/17/2026 for 13 weeks in a home healthcare – hospice setting. Weekly pay ranges from $971 to $1009 per week with guaranteed hours of 32 per week. Shifts are days. This is a travel - temporary assignment requiring PTA duties under the supervision of a registered Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a registered Physical Therapist and in accordance with agency policies and state practice acts
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising PT to relieve pain, restore function, and maximize performance using prescribed modalities and exercises
- Facilitate active and passive exercises, gait and functional training, activities of daily living, and transfer or prosthetic training as appropriate
- Assist patients with therapeutic activities and ensure proper use of equipment (e.g., electrical modalities, heat, light, and related devices) per plan of care
- Monitor patient responses to treatment, document progress, and report changes to the supervising PT
- Educate patients and caregivers on self-care techniques and home exercise programs; coordinate with the health team for equipment and care needs
- Complete and submit accurate clinical notes and required documentation promptly per agency standards

Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting (PTA)
- Current PTA licensure in Vermont or New Hampshire
- Valid driver’s license and agency-level auto insurance
- Eligibility to practice in a home healthcare – hospice setting under supervision of a licensed PT
- Ability to perform duties within the LTAC/ home health environment and adhere to documentation requirements
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting 08/17/2026 with guaranteed hours
