Responsibilities
- Under supervision of a licensed physical therapist, implement treatment plans for residents on the rehabilitation floor.
- Assist with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and mobility activities to support functional goals.
- Monitor patient responses to interventions, report changes to the supervising PT, and document progress notes.
- Prepare equipment, set up treatment spaces, and maintain infection control and safety standards.
- Apply modalities and assist with manual techniques as directed by the PT, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and communicate with the care team as needed.

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligibility for licensure in the assignment state.
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Prior clinical experience as a PTA; experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Ability to work daytime hours in a travel assignment and adapt to facility routines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to document and follow treatment plans.
