Responsibilities
- Provide Physical Therapy Assistant services under the supervision of a licensed PT, implementing prescribed treatment plans for patients.
- Assist with therapeutic exercises, range of motion, strengthening, balance, gait training, and gait assistance as directed.
- Support mobility and transfers, position patients for therapy, and help with activities of daily living as appropriate.
- Document patient progress and Interventions in the chart; EPIC experience is preferred.
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment, ensuring safety, infection control, and proper device utilization.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, nurses, and other team members to optimize patient outcomes and discharge planning.

Requirements
- California Physical Therapy Assistant license (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- High School diploma or GED; Associate’s/Technical degree in Physical Therapy Assistant or related field (required)
- 1 year of physical therapy or related clinical experience (required); 2 years' experience preferred
- Must have worked in the submitted unit specialty within the last 3 months
- EPIC experience preferred
- No on-call requirement
