Overview
Physical Therapy Assistant, travel assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico, starting July 13, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,241 to $1,310 with guaranteed 35 hours per week. Shift is 5x8 days (08:00–16:30). Work will occur in a long-term care setting (nursing home). This temporary assignment is coordinated through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist per the plan of care.
- Implement, monitor, and adjust treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, range of motion, gait, balance, and functional independence.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, gait training, and manual techniques as delegated, and apply appropriate modalities within scope and facility policy.
- Document patient progress accurately in the medical record and communicate changes to the supervising PT and care team.
- Collaborate with the PT, nursing staff, and family members to ensure safe transfers, ADL participation, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols.

Requirements
- Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in New Mexico or eligibility to practice there.
- Willingness to work a travel assignment in Albuquerque, NM.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.
- Ability to document clearly and maintain accurate patient records in electronic systems.
- Prior PTA experience in rehabilitation settings is preferred, with LTC experience considered a plus.
