Responsibilities
- Provide PTA services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, delivering interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy (e.g., massage), gait training, and balance activities
- Assess and document patient progress, reporting treatment results to the supervising physical therapist
- Implement and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the PT, ensuring patient safety and adherence to the care plan
- Maintain accurate, timely charting and progress notes consistent with facility policies
- Collaborate with the rehab team to support multidisciplinary patient care in a LTC setting

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Texas or a United States compact license
- Minimum 2 years PTA experience
- Education: associate degree from an accredited PTA program (or equivalent)
- Ability to work in a long-term care environment and to fulfill a 40-hour weekly schedule
- Eligibility to practice in the United States and to work the specified assignment duration
