Overview
Physical Therapy Assistant in a long-term care setting located in Hamlin, TX. Start date: 05/25/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Weekly pay ranges from $1,433 to $1,513. Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts (5x8). This position operates under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist and requires an active Texas PTA license (or compact) and a minimum of two years PTA experience.

Responsibilities
- Under the direction of physical therapists, provide therapy to patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Record patients’ progress and report treatment results to the supervising physical therapist.
- Assist with the implementation and progression of treatment plans as directed, documenting patient responses and outcomes.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean treatment area; monitor patient safety and comfort during sessions; communicate critical findings to the PT as needed.

Requirements
- Active Texas PTA license or compact license (required)
- Minimum 2 years PTA experience (required)
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting under clinical supervision
- Demonstrated ability to document patient progress and communicate effectively with the supervising PT
- Possession of a current professional standing appropriate to the role
