Overview
Physical Therapist – Skilled Nursing Facility travel assignment in Lanham, MD starting 08/03/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $2,469–$2,694 per week with guaranteed 35 hours. Shift is 5x8 days, 08:00–16:30, in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations for residents in a skilled nursing setting and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement and adjust therapy programs, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance and posture activities, ROM and strengthening, and functional mobility tasks.
- Perform progress notes, document outcomes, and modify plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor patient safety, apply appropriate modalities and assistive devices per policy, and ensure adherence to infection control and safety standards.
- Communicate clearly with residents, families, and team members regarding goals, progress, and discharge planning.

Requirements
- Active physical therapy license in Maryland (or eligibility to obtain) and the ability to practice in a skilled nursing facility setting.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program.
- Experience with geriatric or skilled nursing facility rehabilitation preferred.
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills; ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to meet a 35-hour per week schedule and participate in the assigned travel assignment; ability to pass background check and drug screen.
