Overview
Physical Therapist needed for a travel assignment in a skilled nursing setting in Westbrook, Maine. This temporary, travel position starts on 07/13/2026 and runs for 13 weeks with guaranteed 35 hours per week. The shift is 5x8 days, with on-site hours typically 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This assignment features an increased pay rate. Employment is through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations and develop individualized plans of care for residents.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence.
- Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with nursing, nursing assistants, and other therapy staff to coordinate care and optimize outcomes.
- Educate residents and families on home exercise programs, safety strategies, and functional goals.
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation and maintain compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license; Maine licensure or eligibility to obtain Maine licensure.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent.
- Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a travel assignment and adapt to a new team and environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
