Overview
Physical Therapist – Outpatient in Fort Bragg, California. Start date: 08/31/2026. This is a 13-week travel assignment delivering about 40 hours per week on day shifts (8 hours). Practice setting involves hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation focused on restoring and improving physical function, with a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.

Responsibilities
- Plans and conducts segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social and mental functions, while meeting department objectives.
- Serves as co-leader in interdisciplinary approaches to patient groups, coordinating with team members across disciplines.
- Assess and document patient status, adjust treatment plans, and track progress toward established goals.
- Implement evidence-based PT interventions for outpatient populations, including neuromuscular re-education, gait training, and functional mobility activities.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, activity modification, and preventive strategies to sustain gains.
- Ensure compliance with department standards, safety protocols, and documentation requirements.

- Ability to work effectively in a hospital outpatient setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to develop and adapt patient-centered treatment plans and document outcomes
- Capacity to work the day shift as described (8-hour shifts)
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment
