Overview
Physical Therapist travel assignment in Marysville, California. Start date 06/01/2026 for a 13-week contract in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital. Weekly pay range $2,113–$2,270 per week. Shift is day shift (5x8), 7:00 am–3:30 pm. Setting: acute care hospital.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in the acute care setting per PT plan of care and physician orders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
- Administer therapeutic modalities and exercises; monitor patient response and adjust interventions as needed.
- Document assessments, treatment progress, and discharge planning in the electronic medical record with accuracy and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and the therapy team; educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety.
- Ensure patient safety, align with infection control protocols, and support smooth care transitions within the hospital.

Requirements
- Active California Physical Therapist license in good standing or eligibility.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) required if degree obtained after 2016.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Minimum 1 year of home health or home care experience preferred; Home Base experience a plus; willing to train if not.
- Ability to work in an acute hospital setting and contribute to a multidisciplinary team.
