Overview
Travel Physical Therapist needed for a 13-week assignment in a long-term care (LTC) setting in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. Start date: 06/01/2026. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Weekly pay: $2,197–$2,292. Shift: Days. This is a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive PT evaluations for residents in the LTC setting and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement and monitor therapy programs focused on mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
- Provide therapeutic exercise instruction, gait training, and transfer/gchair/ADL assistive strategies
- Document goals, progress notes, and treatment outcomes; adjust plans based on resident response
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehab team to support resident outcomes and safety
- Ensure patient safety during therapy sessions and transitions; maintain compliant documentation

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license in good standing (state of South Dakota or eligibility)
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent
- Ability to work 36 hours per week in a daytime shift
- Eligible to work in the United States; able to participate in a travel assignment
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Prior experience in or strong interest in long-term care settings is preferred
