Overview
Physical Therapist — travel assignment in King City, California. Start date: 06/01/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,529-$2,584 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: Rotating. Responsibilities
- Conduct PT evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and develop individualized plans of care with measurable goals.
- Deliver PT interventions including mobility training, gait training, range of motion, strengthening, and functional activities tailored to each setting.
- Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to referring physicians, nurses, and case managers; participate in discharge planning and patient/family education.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record and comply with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide flexible coverage as needed within a rotating schedule, including weekends.

Requirements
- Active California Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure by endorsement
- Doctor of Physical Therapy or Master of Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Experience in both inpatient acute care and outpatient settings (approx. 50/50 workload)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, including weekends, and to complete a 13-week travel assignment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
