Overview
Physical Therapist – General in Gloversville, New York, begins 08/24/2026 for a travel assignment lasting 12 weeks. This full-time position offers 40 guaranteed hours per week with a pay range of $2,045 to $2,123 per week. Shift hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with no holidays or weekend work. The assignment is in a skilled nursing facility setting, and is conducted as a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for residents in a skilled nursing facility.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care to restore mobility, strength, balance, and function.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, including gait training, therapeutic exercise, ROM, strengthening, and balance training; select appropriate modalities as indicated.
- Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Educate residents and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety, and strategies to maintain function after discharge or transfer.

Requirements
- Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility is required.
- Ability to work a daytime, Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM).
- Willingness to participate in a 12-week travel assignment.
- Strong documentation and communication skills for care coordination.
