Overview

Pharmacist - Outpatient travel assignment in Tuba City, Arizona. Start date 09/21/2026 for a 13-week engagement. Weekly pay ranges from $2,836 to $2,972. Shift options are 5 days per week on day shifts, typically 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. The assignment is in an outpatient surgery center setting. Employer: Healthforce Healthcare LLC. This position requires licensure and active clinical practice in the United States, with fingerprinting completed prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services to patients in an outpatient setting
• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety; resolve discrepancies
• Counsel patients on medications, dosing, potential side effects, and adherence strategies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize therapeutic outcomes
• Support policy compliance and participate in quality and safety initiatives; assist in program development as needed
• Support workflow across the outpatient pharmacy and satellite clinics, including documentation and reporting

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a school recognized by the ACPE
• Current, valid, and unrestricted pharmacist license in a US state or territory (or the District of Columbia)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Registered Pharmacist; minimum one (1) year as a Clinical Pharmacist
• Ability to work in an outpatient and clinic-based setting; willingness to rotate day shifts
• Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared prior to start
