Overview
Operating Room Technician (OR Tech) – Labor & Delivery focus, Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Start date 06/15/2026 for an 8-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range $1,250–$1,341 per week. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: 2x3 Days. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment. Work setting: hospital operating suite with L&D surgical cases.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile field for Labor & Delivery surgical cases, including cesarean sections, hysterectomies, tubal ligations, and dilation and curettage procedures
- Pass instruments, handle supplies, and assist the surgical team during operations
- Set up and break down OR rooms, perform instrument counts, and manage specimen handling per protocol
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, suctioning, and maintaining patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Maintain documentation, adhere to sterile technique, and support perioperative workflows
- Participate in an on-call rotation (1 call every call shift on a 6-week cycle) as assigned

Requirements
- GAPS registration required for submission; local candidates preferred due to longer fingerprinting processing times for non-locals
- National Certification Card (as indicated in job notes)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the OR tech specialty, with strong Labor & Delivery experience
- Must provide Work History/Resume with no gaps greater than 60 days, Skills Checklist, References
- Demonstrated ability to work in a Labor & Delivery surgical setting and support perioperative teams
