Occupational Therapist – Zzz Occupational Therapist specialty travel assignment in Silver Spring, Maryland. Start date 08/03/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for residents and establish individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to improve activities of daily living, upper-extremity function, cognition, and safety within a geriatric population.
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust goals with input from the interdisciplinary team.
- Participate in discharge planning, care conferences, and family communications as appropriate.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and facility policies; use adaptive equipment and assistive technology as indicated.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements
- Active occupational therapy license in the United States or eligibility to obtain licensure in the applicable state.
- Experience or interest in geriatric rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
- Ability to travel for a travel assignment and work effectively in a skilled nursing environment.
- Strong documentation and communication skills; proficient in relevant therapy documentation systems.
- Capacity to work a 35+ hour weekly schedule and adapt to a fast-paced setting.
