Overview
Travel Occupational Therapist – Belen, New Mexico. Start date 07/13/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,082 to $2,204 per week with guaranteed 35 hours per week. Shift is 8:00 am–4:30 pm, five days per week. The assignment is in a long-term care environment providing rehabilitation services to residents.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living, functional mobility, and overall independence.
- Reassess progress regularly and adjust goals and treatments to meet resident outcomes.
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory and facility standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, discharge planning, and family education.
- Educate residents and families on home programs, safety strategies, and adaptive equipment as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the United States; NM licensure or eligibility for NM licensure as applicable.
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
- Minimum 1 year of OT experience in a clinical setting; experience in geriatric rehabilitation or long-term care is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, resident-centered environment and to adapt care plans to changing needs.
- Capacity to travel for the assignment and to meet typical travel recruitment requirements (background check and standard screenings).
