Overview
Occupational Therapist – School-based (OT) in Thornton, Colorado. Travel assignment starting July 27, 2026 for a duration through May 21, 2027. Earn $2,150 to $2,244 per week with no guaranteed hours. Shift is 5x7 Days. Primary setting is a school-based environment serving preschool through high school students. This is a travel, temporary assignment with orientation to occur July 27–31, followed by reporting to worksites starting August 3 and student start on August 11.

Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment for students across preschool through high school in a school-based setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing fine motor skills, handwriting, sensory integration, activities of daily living, and functional participation in classroom activities
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, families, and IEP/504 teams to support student participation and progress toward goals
- Document treatment progress, goals, and outcomes in the district’s charting system, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and standards
- Maintain safety, infection control, and patient privacy; participate in required trainings and meetings
- Complete required clearance activities (fingerprinting) per district policy and agency requirements

Requirements
- Active occupational therapy license in Colorado
- DORA certification
- Ability to obtain Colorado CBI and FBI fingerprint clearance as soon as contract is signed
- No specific years of experience required as listed
- Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to work in a school-based setting
