This travel assignment places an OT in a multidisciplinary outpatient program that includes physical therapy, speech-language pathology, and specialty therapy services. The outpatient service line offers a range of therapies and supports a variety of patient populations, including lymphedema care, wound care, vestibular therapy, aquatics, sports-related rehab, and Parkinson’s disease rehabilitation, with opportunities for collaborative care across disciplines.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for outpatient rehab patients
- Implement occupational therapy interventions to improve activities of daily living, dexterity, cognition, and upper-extremity function; adapt tasks and environments to maximize independence
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (including physical therapy and speech-language pathology) to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
- Document patient progress in the medical record, update plans of care, and participate in discharge planning and patient education
- Provide specialized outpatient therapies as available, including lymphedema management and wound care, and contribute to related treatment programs
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance with clinical policies and regulatory requirements
- Support family education and home exercise program development to promote continuity of care
Requirements
- 15–18 months of recent OT experience in an outpatient rehabilitation specialty or closely related setting
- AHA BLS (American Heart Association Basic Life Support) certification
- Lymphedema certification required
- Availability for daytime schedule (typically Monday–Friday) with potential hour variations based on department needs
- Ability to work effectively within an outpatient, multidisciplinary rehab environment in the listed location
