Overview
Occupational Therapist — Acute Care in a rural, critical access setting. Location: Dilkon, Arizona, United States. Start date: 08/03/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,461 to $2,576 per week. Shift: flexible 4x10s; option for 8x5s based on candidate preference. Position type: Travel - Temporary Assignment. The role combines outpatient orthopedic care with a strong pediatric component, requiring versatility across a broad patient caseload. Compliance documentation is due two weeks prior to start.

Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services in outpatient orthopedic care with pediatric capabilities
- Conduct OT evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to improve ROM, strength, coordination, and functional activities
- Support activities of daily living and client independence through adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and education
- Document assessments, goals, treatment progress, and discharge plans in accordance with professional and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure cohesive care and appropriate transitions
- Maintain equipment safety and inventory; participate in quality improvement and program efficiency efforts

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of occupational therapy experience
- Experience in outpatient ortho and pediatric care
- Ability to work either 4x10s or 8x5s, with flexibility to accommodate scheduling
- Compliance information and documentation due two weeks prior to start
- Ability to work effectively in a rural outpatient setting
