Overview
Occupational Therapist – Acute Care travel assignment in Willows, CA. Start date: 07/20/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay range: $2,464–$2,535 per week. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week. Shift: Tuesday through Saturday, 08:00–16:30 (7.5-hour days) with approximately 37.5 scheduled hours per week. Setting: skilled nursing facility delivering acute care services to adult patients.

Responsibilities
- Conduct OT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for adults in an acute care/skilled nursing environment.
- Implement rehabilitation interventions to improve activities of daily living, mobility, balance, and functional strength.
- Reassess progress regularly; adjust goals and therapy plans based on patient response.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nurses, therapists, physicians, case managers) to optimize patient outcomes and discharge planning.
- Document evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record; ensure timely communication with teammates and families.
- Provide patient and family education on therapy goals, home exercise programs, safety strategies, and equipment needs for transition to home or next level of care.

Requirements
- Availability to begin on 07/20/2026 and commit to a 13-week assignment.
- Willingness to work a Tuesday–Saturday schedule (08:00–16:30) with guaranteed hours of 35 per week.
- Active Occupational Therapy license in California or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Experience in acute care or skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment and to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team; proficient documentation in electronic medical records.
