Overview
Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Ogdensburg, NY. This travel assignment starts 06/01/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Pay range: $2,460–$2,610 per week, with a guaranteed minimum of at least 30 hours per week (part-time). Shift is 7:00 am–3:00 pm, 5x8 days, in a medical imaging department within a health system.

Responsibilities
- Acquire nuclear medicine images according to Radiologist orders and department procedures.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of the Radiologist; monitor for adverse reactions and follow safety protocols.
- Operate imaging equipment (gamma camera, SPECT/CT, PET where applicable); perform quality control and optimize image quality.
- Prepare and inventory radiopharmaceuticals, maintain accurate patient data and procedure documentation.
- Ensure radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety standards are followed; maintain imaging logs and QA records.
- Collaborate with Radiology staff and nursing personnel to coordinate patient workflow and communicate results appropriately.

Requirements
- New York State license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- NMTCB or ARRT certification
- Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience
- Ability to perform all Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures and radiopharmaceutical injections under Radiologist direction
- Availability for a part-time schedule with at least 30 hours guaranteed per week
