MRI Technologist needed for a travel assignment in Kealakekua, Hawaii. Specialty: MRI. Start date: 06/08/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,157-$2,273 per week. Shift: Rotating. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment. Billing and assignment management through Medefis. This position supports a medical imaging department in a healthcare setting, performing diagnostic MRI examinations and ensuring patient safety and image quality throughout the assignment.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI studies across applicable body regions following physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare patients for imaging, verify orders, confirm patient identity, and screen for contraindications; position patients to optimize image quality.
- Operate MRI equipment, including Siemens systems when available, adjusting sequences and parameters to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
- Monitor patient safety and comfort during scanning, apply radiation safety principles where applicable, and document imaging procedures and findings according to department standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other technologists to ensure accurate protocol adherence and timely image delivery; report any deviations or equipment concerns to the team.

Requirements
- ARRT registered in MRI (MRI modality)
- Certification: ARRT MRI required
- Siemens experience preferred
- Ability to work a rotating shift in a travel assignment
- References: reference checks will be conducted via email (no phone calls)
