Overview
Mammo Tech – Mammography Technologist opportunity in Clearlake, CA. This travel assignment begins 06/22/2026 and runs for 13 weeks in a critical access setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,492 to $2,612. Shift: 4x10-hour days. There are no guaranteed hours and no on-call, holidays, or weekends.

Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography using Volpara MRS system, a Hologic mammography unit, and a GE Dexa scanner, following department protocols.
- Position patients correctly, apply appropriate compression, and optimize images to meet quality standards.
- Verify patient information, label images accurately, and document procedures in the radiology information system.
- Adhere to ALARA principles and maintain radiation safety, equipment performance, and infection control standards.
- Communicate with radiologists and support staff to ensure timely interpretation and maintain patient comfort throughout the exam.

Requirements
- State of California license and/or ARRT mammo certification required.
- MRT certification required.
- AHA BLS certification required.
- Fluoroscopy license preferred.
- Venipuncture certification preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital imaging department on a travel assignment.
